Artist / Label Manager

AM, also known as Agressive Mood, is the psychedelic project of Portuguese producer, audio engineer and sound designer Filipe Martins. Born in Portugal and currently based in the Austrian Alps (Innsbruck area), he has been shaping dark and hi-tech psytrance since 2004.

What began as a focused underground project aimed at delivering serious, intelligent dark psytrance has evolved into one of the most distinctive voices in the modern hi-tech scene. Around 2015, AM shifted fully into hi-tech dark psytrance, refining a signature sound built on crushing basslines, razor-sharp sound design, deep atmospheric layers and an unmistakable, driving groove.

Beyond his solo work, AM is a core part of the Blast Records family as Label Manager. He is also active in several collaborative projects, including:

His discography spans albums such as Pachamama (2014), Portal Generator (2017) and Maze of Madness (2021), alongside more recent releases including Society Unplugged, Artificial Madness, Memorial Drop, Neural Reset and the full-length album The Vessel (2026).

AM’s productions are known for their intensity, precision and hypnotic power — music that hits both body and mind. Whether in the studio or behind the decks, he continues to push the boundaries of hi-tech psytrance while helping steer the direction of Blast Records.
